Amarone is produced in the Veneto Valpolicella area after appassimento method in which the grapes are dried over the winter to increase the wine's concentration of wealth and alcohol potential. However, it is permitted to use the method in other regions of Veneto. Casa Vinironia Appassimento produced by appassimento naturale method in which a portion of the grapes dried on the vine, so color, richness and concentration increases in the finished wine.

Tasting Notes

The grapes are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, and appassimento method has given the wine a deep red colour, a rich and intents aroma and a taste that is both rich, concentrated and rich. An excellent and cost efficient alternative to an Amarone
