Sanama Reserva, Cachapoal Valley Chardonnay

Category: Tags: ,

Producer Profile

Sanama Reserva wines are made at Château Los Boldos from a combination of estate fruit (younger vines) and from grapes that have been brought in from neighbouring growers in Cachapoal. The wines have nicely defined and clearly expressed varietal characters and are forward and ready for drinking. Víctor Arce, the new chief winemaker at Château Los Boldos, arrived at the estate in 2016 after previously working at Perez Cruz and for Paul Hobbs. His input will become increasingly apparent in these wines.

Tasting Note

This Chardonnay is light yellow with youthful highlights. On the nose, tropical aromas of peach and pineapple combine with hints of honey. A subtle sweetness on the palate is balanced by a generous natural acidity.
